Yesterday, we met with local youth workers who took part in the STAR 2.0 training course. The meeting marked the first step of the pilot phase, which will lead to the co-creation of a street art intervention together with young people, guided by the STAR 2.0 Toolkit.

We started with a simple but powerful question:
What changes would you like to see in the neighbourhoods where you work, or within your own spaces?

From this discussion, three main macro-themes began to emerge. These themes will form the foundation for the development of the pilot activities in the coming weeks.

We start from real needs, identify shared challenges, and then select the most appropriate tools to address them. The STAR 2.0 Toolkit will support youth workers in transforming ideas into participatory street art actions with young people at the centre of the process.

We are excited to continue this journey and to see how creativity, collaboration, and inclusion will take shape in the streets of Reggio Emilia.
